New release by the enigmatic Andalusian duo European Canon.
"Ask That" is a question mark in the skies, an unanswered question; it embodies the uncertainty about where the future will lead us, the impossibility of reaching a better place, though believing that one is doing so.
It was recorded with their joint trip and residence in Cairo alongside us (Soundofnoize) in mind.

On the remixing duties we have...
Hartta, music producer and DJ from Seville (Spain), co-founder of the Dead Trax collective and label as well as member of the group Sabasonik and known from his refined sound.
He's bringing an andalusian funky flavored techno-breaks remix of Ask That that will keep you dancing until Mr. Future arrives, groove is not dead Franco is.

Shah — Fabricating his own sonic landscape, he is known for his unprecedented oriental, Bedouin, and retrofuturistic club sound.
While his releases introduce a unique blend of shaabi and electronic tunes, he finds a middle-ground for emerging Egyptian and international music.
This time he delivers a crazy percussive rework of the original song, you can feel the hitting up your soul with every synth note as the Shah moves through time and space.
